Meet the Physician
Donna Kini-Bowen, AP, LMT is a Florida State Licensed Acupuncturist, Acupuncture Physician, Licensed Massage Therapist, Board Certified in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine and a Diplomat in Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She graduated with honors (Summa Cum Laude) from the Florida College of Integrative Medicine and received a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine and Bachelor of Science in Professional Health Studies.
Native to Hawaii, Donna founded her acupuncture practice, Aloha Acupuncture, in Oviedo, Florida. She believes that health is a manifestation of balance, both within the body itself and between the body and the external environment. She endeavors to help her clients discover the "Spirit of Aloha;" to recapture the essence of life by adjusting and stimulating the flow of energy through acupuncture, and tap into the body's natural healing ability to maintain health and protect against disease.
Donna understands what it means to be a triathlete because she is one. Her personal experience and achievements affords her a unique, sport specific, perspective as a practitioner which translates into an invaluable and refreshing sensitivity, insight and creativity when treating athletes.
